Downtown Dallas is filled with exciting things to do and experience, but one of the best parts is being able to enjoy the outdoors, and more importantly, the incredible views. That’s why we created a list of our top patios and rooftops as the go-to resource for all things in and around Downtown. These spots are observing COVID-19 precautions such as cleaning and sanitizing, social distancing practices, and staff wearing masks. We invite you to Live Like a Local and take in all Downtown has to offer by exploring some of the best patios and rooftops in town. 

Dallas Farmers Market 

This artisanal vendor market has four anchor restaurants, a mixture of local specialty foods, artisanal food vendors, and seating areas both inside and out where you can grab a bite to eat or enjoy a cup of coffee while taking in a view of the Dallas skyline or observing the market-goers.

Sky Blossom

This is an incredible rooftop bistro and bar in Downtown Dallas! It is unique in that it is a quick-serve establishment during the day and offers a fine dining/lounge experience by night. Take in the views from the patio, which has additional seating for those who prefer to sit outdoors. 

Jaxon

Enjoy elevated classic Southern dishes inspired by Texas cuisine and one of their 40 in-house tap beers with your meal, while easily socially distancing from others on Jaxon’s incredible patio! 

Waterproof

This is one of Downtown Dallas’ most unique spots. During the day enjoy a meal on the patio or poolside, but as the sun goes down, exchange swimsuits for your trendy attire and enjoy the energetic nightlife experience!

3Eleven Kitchen and Cocktails

Farm-to-table is what 3Eleven Kitchen does best. Located in the West End district, it has a great vibe and plenty of wonderful cocktail selections. The contemporary American restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, serving brunch, lunch, and dinner.

Harwood Tavern

Walk down South Harwood street and you will notice a blue lit tree pinpointing this moody gastropub. With patio seating to lay back and sip on the beautifully crafted cocktails, this is the perfect spot for a karaoke night. 

Frankie’s Downtown

This two-story sports bar offers upmarket pub grub, happy hours, numerous craft beers on tap, and many TVs. Come hang out on their patio to enjoy some delicious food and great drink options! They also have happy hours every Tuesday… how could you resist?!

Hard Shake Dallas 

Enjoy a perfectly crafted cocktail in a vintage art deco environment with a modern, elevated twist. Sip a cocktail on the terrace while overlooking the AT&T Discovery District. 

Catbird 

Find yourself at one of two outdoor patios located on the 10th floor of The National. The cool, sexy restaurant offers cocktails, delicious food, and amazing views of Downtown.

Primo’s MX Kitchen & Lounge 

Located in The Statler, Primo’s offers an elevated cocktail program, chef-driven meals with authentic ingredients inspired from the border of Texas to Southern Mexico. Enjoy a drink or meal on the patio overlooking Main Street Garden. 

Sloane’s Corner 

Need a power breakfast, quick lunch in between meetings, or an early dinner? Sloane’s corner is the perfect place. Sit on the patio and enjoy a relaxed New American Bistro offering good food and crafted cocktails.

The Woolworth

Located in the heart of Downtown, enjoy amazing views overlooking The Giant Eyeball, tapas, share plates, and cocktails. 

Campisi’s 

Serving iconic, award-winning pizza and family Italian dishes since 1946, Campisi’s is a must try. Enjoy one of their iconic pizzas on their patio overlooking The Giant Eyeball in the Main Street District. 

The Crafty Irishman

Nestled on the ground floor of the historic Mercantile Building, this traditional Irish pub is the first of its kind in Downtown Dallas. Try their tempting dishes and bottomless taps on their patio. 

Nine at The National 

Newly opened, the contemporary breakfast, brunch and lunch destination is located on the ninth floor of The National. Enjoy a casual patio seating either before or during work. 

Chop House Burger

There’s a reason why they’re known for the best burgers in Downtown Dallas. Grab a burger and sit on the patio overlooking the busy street of Main Street.
