Public Improvement District Renewal
For more than 65 years, Downtown Dallas, Inc. (DDI) has championed a safe, clean and vibrant Downtown. Through the Dallas Downtown Improvement District (DDID), DDI provides enhanced services that support businesses, residents and visitors while strengthening Downtown’s vitality.
Funded by assessments on properties within the district, the DDID supports public safety, cleaning services, transportation improvements, park and public space enhancements, economic development, special events and other services approved by the Dallas City Council.
The current DDID term expires December 31, 2027, with annual budgets and assessment rates subject to public hearings and Dallas City Council approval. The district is managed by Downtown Dallas, Inc.
