Looking for some fun in the sun? Downtown Dallas is packed with opportunities to get moving, get doing, and get dining along gorgeous nature trails or with a view of the Dallas skyline. Whether you’re a foodie, naturist, or fitness fanatic, there are plenty of options to get your outdoor fix and keep your social distance.
This is a great option if you’re into yoga, fitness, or eating great food! A ticket includes an hour of yoga, a chef-prepared brunch box, and bottomless mimosas. Valet service, too! No need to worry about parking.
For a more traditional workout, there are some great fitness classes at the Omni: yoga, bootcamps, and for the more chivalrous, longsword and fencing classes! Another great option is Pencak Silat, an Indo-Malay martial art with a focus on empty hand, weapon, and counter-weapon self-defense.
If you’re into getting up and getting moving or crossing your legs and finding your center, Klyde Warren Park is the place to be. Work up a real sweat with Body Mountain Bootcamp, calm your mind with yoga or meditation, or get your groove on with the Bandan Koro African Drum and Dance Ensemble.
How about a culture shock? Dance, theater, ballet, movies—you name it, you can grab a ticket at ATTPAC. Upcoming shows include the Hamilton Dance Combination, The Addams Family, IT, and a Disney Sing-Along! Bring the whole family to the lawn at Strauss Square and have a wonderful time Letting It Go.
At the center of it all is Pacific Plaza, with plenty of room to walk, jog, swing, or plop down and picnic. Take a quick stroll between Kyle Warren Park, Main Street Garden, all the way to the Dallas Farmers Market. Better yet, bring along a kite and watch it soar!
Food, drink, and entertainment, all with a lightning-fast 5G connection to share it. Sound like it’s for you? The AT&T Discovery District has it all. With Jaxon and Rise + Thyme serving up amazing food and coffee, Jaxon’s expansive patio, a 6K display for sporting events and movies, and plenty of interactive art pieces, it’s not just one of the best experiences in Dallas—it’s one of the most Instagrammable!
If you’re looking to take things off-road, DORBA has partnered with the City of Dallas to give plenty of awesome bike trails for thrill-seekers and enthusiasts alike! Check out Harry S. Moss Park, L. B. Houston Park, Katie Jackson Park, or Boulder Park for some options. For a more relaxed ride, there are plenty of looping and sightseeing trails through every major park and greenbelt Downtown. More specifically, Downtown offers easy access to Katy Trail, Santa Fe Trail, Santa Fe Trestle Trail, and Skyline Trail.
The best part about eating and having fun outside is that fresh produce and fresh air go hand in hand—so come down to the Dallas Farmers Market! Pick up fresh fruits and veggies at The Shed, grab a bite to eat at The Market, or check out the Harvest Lofts or Taylor Lofts retail for souvenirs, entertainment, and great food.
