Inland American Lodging Group Inc., an subsidiary of Inland American Real Estate Trust Inc. has bought The Fairmont Dallas for $69 million. The 545-room hotel at 1717 N. Akard St. has two towers and 70,000-square-feet of meeting space. It was opened in 1969 as Texas’ first luxury hotel.

Clouse Dunn LLP, an employment law and commercial litigation firm, has renewed its lease for 13,955 square feet of office space at Renaissance Tower. Jeff Ellerman, Phil Puckett, and Michelle Donaldson of CB Richard Ellis represented the tenant. Dennis Barnes, Clay Gilbert, and Celeste Fowden, also of CBRE, represented the landlord, Binyan Realty LP.

DAC Patient Recruitment Services LLC, formerly D. Anderson & Co., has leased 5,780 square feet of office space at 2100 Ross Ave. in Dallas. Steven Schneider of Grubb & Ellis Co. represented the tenant, a company that recruits and retains patients for clinical research studies. Dennis Barnes, Celeste Fowden, and Clay Gilbert of CB Richard Ellis represented the landlord, 2100 Ross Realty. DAC’s office is currently located at 3100 McKinnon St. in Uptown.
