Black Music Month Family Weekend

Whether you’re young, old, somewhere in the middle, a frequent Family Weekender or a first time visitor, our Black Music Month Family Weekend welcomes everyone for a lunch in the sun filled with music and fun! Our street will be lined with 3 delicious Black-owned food trucks serving Ice Cream in a Bun, Italian Ice, Gumbo, as well as our G Texas Food Truck. We’ll have a market of Black-Owned businesses with gifts and perfect souvenirs. Out on the lawn, we’ll have a free caricaturist to capture the moment, as well as a 360 video stand to capture a lot of them. On the stage, we’ll have Black musicians showing off their style in a musical cabaret curated by local multi- hyphenate artist, Cherish Robinson.
