Frontera returns to Oak Cliff’s Bishop Arts District for its second annual arts festival on April 11 & 12, 2025! Frontera is a two-day festival presented by Dallas-based literary magazine Southwest Review, celebrating the intersection of Latin American and U.S. The festival will take place between The Wild Detectives, Kessler Theater, and Texas Theatre. All events are free and open to the public! This year’s lineup includes extraordinary artists such as: renowned cartoonist Lynda Barry, acclaimed writers Mary Miller, Mateo García Elizondo, Brenda Lozano, and the famed Argentinian band EL MATO A UN POLICIA MOTORIZADO, who will be making this special Dallas appearance ahead of their North American tour. Frontera offers a unique opportunity to enjoy discussions, live music, and readings from a diverse group of emerging and established artists.
