Just a few SMALL things on the agenda this week (said with great sarcasm) here at the DOWNTOWNDALLAS world headquarters:
- It’s here! Opening week at the AT&T Performing Arts Center. It began today with a blessing at the Winspear, and tomorrow morning at 8:00am is the official “ribbon cutting”. Events and activities are programmed all week, culminating with Spotlight Sunday on Oct. 18. More at www.thedallasartsdistrict.org.
- Tomorrow (Monday) at 4:oo pm is the Downtown Dallas 360 Community Forum. Join us at the Convention Center to hear more about the plan (see previous post for more details) and participate in an interactive discussion focused on your priorities for future Downtown development.
- Tonight and tomorrow night after 4:00pm the public art installation at Main Street Garden (light sculpture) will be temporarily lit! The artist herself is joining us from New York for some programming and testing prior to the official opening in November. Come by! I’ll be out there tonight at 6:30 with local media.
It’s going to be a great week! More to come…
